If color is not applied, the wood is lovingly coated with a baby-safe natural protective wax, featuring a blend of high-quality ingredients, including linseed oil, pine resin, and beeswax. Not only does the coating protect the wood, but it also imparts a delightful honey aroma. If you prefer having the bed painted, the wood is instead coated with a water based, Nordic Ecolabel awarded color. Once again, we pride ourselves in using materials that are devoid of chemicals harmful to human beings.

• Safety Standards: Our beds are handcrafted to meet the strict safety standards set out by the European Union to ensure your child’s safety. Customers outside of Europe are advised to review the purchasing regulations of the countries they reside in, as the company takes no responsibility for international purchases.
  
  
• Custom Rail/Barrier Configuration: Our ordering process allows you to choose the number of rails/barriers you would like the bed to have from the drop-down menu. This means you can select as many rails as you desire. For beds where this option applies, you can even have the bed built without rails. If you select a bed with fewer than 4 rails, please specify in the comments section of the order which rails you would like the bed to be built with.
  
  
• Maximum Weight Capacity: Please note that the recommended maximum weight capacity for the bed is 80 kg to ensure the bed’s durability and your child’s safety.
